"Will be interesting to see how the Vols make room if they go that route with Matthews. Now maybe their numbers end up being less of an issue after the weekend if Murphy does visit Ole Miss and if Bailey maybe takes a visit somewhere."

Don't want to lose either of those guys.

Ok, I'm totally confused. We're looking at taking a 4th RB because a WR and a CB might visit elsewhere?

Sounds like he could be Coleman's replacement maybe? I mean, if the staff still wants Ray and Conliffe, surely they don't want to lose Murphy or Bailey, don't see them taking 4 running backs. Strange.

It would be more preferable to have an upper class rb to go along with 2 freshman, imo.

Why? Just curious. Especially when we have JK and CFA, and he won't be a starter. Rather have the Freshman and possibly redshirt

Matthews said he didn't want to go into detail on why he's no longer committed to the Tigers, but said he has a top three now of Tennessee, Purdue and Kansas.
JUCO running back no longer committed to Auburn | AL.com

Rushed for 1,752 yards & 26 TDs his senior year at North Jackson HS, averaging 11.2 ypc. In two years at Itawamba CC he tallied 1,453 yards & 9 TDs rushing on 184 carries (7.9 ypc), also had 28 receptions for 367 yards & 5 TDs.

While aware of our RB depth, I still don't see us signing four in this class and IMO, we don't need to.
