Is it a foregone conclusion that he will commit? I see y'all about other tackles, but no chatter about him.

Probably a case of letting Jalen have his moment. It's like the Berry brothers recruitment. We never really heard a lot about it, but everyone pretty much knew how it was going to turn out.

Have we even offered yet? If not, what is the hold up? He seems like a solid prospect, and ours to lose at that.

I don't think we have offered a lot of OL yet for '17. I know we have sent some out, but usually we wait for the junior year. let the big un's fill out more

I wouldn't worry, he'll get his offer and I don't see anyway he won't be practicing against his brother come 2017.

1. poor freshmen having to go against a junior Khalil
2. Bloodline vs bloodline will be interesting
3. I wonder if another year of playing with little brother might keep Khalil here? Family is important to that family, and its not like the family needs the NFL money, all just me thinking out loud.
4. we need to install a seismic meter for those show downs.

He said in a recent interview that Kahlil hadn't received his offer at this point either. Jalen will get one sometime this season most likely. It's important that the recruits know they get an offer based on their ability and not on their name alone.

1.Only makes them better. They'll look forward to the games when he's not across from them.

3.Would be cool. It may depend on if he feels like something has been left on the table after 3 have passed. If a national championship is close but not obtained, he may want to come back.

He was good last season, but I don't know that he displayed what you'd want out of a 4-star at his age. Yes, he's big, but remember, it was his first year of football in a long time. He had some knee surgeries a couple of years ago that put him behind.

Now, he's someone Tennessee is watching closely this fall to see what he looks like and could absolutely earn an offer, I just don't know that based on what we've seen he's at that level yet.

Nick you need to start a thread just for cobra updates. Kind of like the Von Pearson update thread and the P Willy ACT thread where we can all tune in every day to see that there is no news on the cobra hunt every day for like 6 months. It would make it easier than having to find post in every thread on here for updates on COBRA HUNT 2015.

PS: Better kill that Cobra before the season starts, because after we beat OU and start rolling and beat FL and UGA you can not kill the snake. You will have to feed him. Can't have you messing up our team MOJO and VIBE during the season by killing our LUCKY CHARM snake. If you kill him during the season and we lose you will be the reason. YOU AND ONLY YOU!

On a serious front I hope Jalen is okay. Hate that for the kid about the injury to his knee. Maybe it wont be as serious as thought and he can play this year. Great family and I know he will get the best of medical care.
