'17 CA DT/OL Jalen McKenzie

Raleigh won 2 super bowls as a starter on the famed Redskins "Hog" offensive line. I believe he played in the league for almost 15 years. Was voted a top 100 redskin of all time.

While i prefer Reggie Mac, its only because he produced 2 future Vols. Raleigh was the better pro, and it isnt close.

Reggie was better in college than Raleigh. He was drafted higher too. 4th round to the Raiders, but only played about 4 yrs due to injury. Raleigh was one of the biggest steals of the draft. Wasn't picked till the 11th round.

I just found and article from September 1. He did in fact tear his ACL and missed the rest of his season.

I wonder if he will be able to camp at all this summer. Has anyone heard anything about him since the fall?

He's consensus 3-star. No offer from UT currently.

He tweeted on Jan 28th that he is 5 months into his recovery program and already 90%. It is supposed to take 9 months and his goal was Adrian Petersen's 6 months.

Sounds like he is ahead of schedule rehabbing the injury, but I don't know anything about his recruitment.

I have torn my acl twice and I can tell you right now that it doesn't physically take 9 months unless you have complications from surgery. My first one hurt like hell after surgery every day and 6 months in I had to have a lateral release. And it took about 9 months to fully recover. My second one took me about 6 months to recover to full strength. The thing is, is that it's way tougher mentally than physically. I was scared to death to play baseball after my surgeries. That's the most painful surgery ever! I Believe mentally it takes a year or a little more to recover from it.

I want to know his brothers measurable's.

No offense, but isn't it fair to say that returning to 100% for you is much different than D1 athletes playing sports that require much more cutting and endurance than baseball?

I don't agree, baseball is very physically demanding.

People don't realize the wear and tear playing every day or even 4 or 5 games a week has in baseball. Sliding, diving, twisting the lower back, throwing.....one game isn't the issue but after about 25 in a 5 week period, it adds up.

Yup. It's pretty baffling to me that pro baseball players play 150+ games a year (and that's assuming they miss some games here and there). With all the travel and spring ball factored in, it's not hard to see why some of the older guys eventually succumb to nagging injuries.

Throwing is the main issue in baseball. You'll have your injuries like other sports, but the throwing motion is the main reason injuries are so common in baseball. It's an unnatural motion that is terrible on the joints.

Exactly why I DID NOT want Dobbs playing baseball

Makes Cal Ripken all the more remarkable. His consecutive games streaks is possibly the most impressive record in any sport.

Aside from quantity what's the difference? Was he going to pitch?

While the mechanics of throwing a football and throwing a baseball are similar, they are not the same.

Didn't want Dobbs throwing baseballs all spring, when he should have been working on throwing footballs.
