There is a stark difference between pulling for your team to lose and seeing the benefit of losing.
I see the benefit of the Bears losing this season, we aren't making the playoffs and losing gives us a better draft pick. However, I will NEVER root for the Bears to lose an actual game.
Dooley losing to Vanderbilt ended up being a benefit to the program, but I sure as heck were rooting for the Vols during that game.
