Yep, turned out right this time and if Butch parts ways then he is the one that made the decision, and thus is right anyway. Gave the kid a chance because of hard work, I guess he had to earn it this season and couldn't. Simple as that

Do the coaches know more than you do about whatever you do as a profession? I doubt it.

Guess staff needs to get Coach Jake back to evaluating QBs. Coach Jake found Dobbs, Dormady, Guarantano. He also wanted Darnold bad and was first to offer him but Darnold eventually blew up. Never a good sign when you QB commit is benched. I gave them benefit of the doubt and he seemed to have tools in highlights to be a decent backup develop type but apparently not

We've got a 3 star in Moseley who as a junior still looks like a 3 star he was projected to be.

Cam Sutton is probably the best pure CB I've watched at Tennessee personally. Being a 3-5 star wasn't going to change his talent level. He was recruited by Muschamp hard at Florida though so that should've been a sign.

These marginal guys should be questioned though. Kids like Lewis should DOMINATE this competition. His numbers should be crazy watching the talent he's playing against. He looks like a tall kid and that's it to me. He may be better but we'll see.

To be fair Moseley was actually a 2 star when offered and has played a helluva lot better than Justin Coleman (Dooley 4 star) played his first 3 seasons.

Coleman played for a loser head coach too. Made quite a few plays his last year too. I'll give him that even if he wasn't the best he wasn't Marsalis Teague at CB. Lol

Do you know anything about the offense Lewis is in? Do you know the plays that were called?

CJB found JG? Pretty sure Butch is good friends with his dad and that would likely be the connection.

If you can't hold on to your starting position in HS, how are you going to be productive in college. What's worse is the mediocre talent he's playing against.
