'17 FL CB C.J. Cotman (UT commit 7/20/16)

Kamara with one touch vs Ethan Wolfe one touch.

Who has the greater ability on that one play??

Byrd might not get any touches but the defense will still defend his speed. Which means taking away defensive help that would go elsewhere.

I fully agree that Bryd is a stud DB. I said as much, but he's a real weapon on offense.

What would you suggest???

Get playmakers the ball.

I like Byrd on offense as well but if he were to move to defense I wouldn't put him at corner. He has the ability to be an Eric Berry or Ed Reed caliber safety. Imagine Warrior and Byrd as our two safeties.

Kinda thought there would be more talk about him moving from #346 to #281. So we have 2 more four stars that we didn't have last week. Solid week back from the bye

That's exactly where they should be.

I would want this right now.

Before camp Safety was where Byrd was goinh to start out at. Byrd is a physical guy. And best believe nobody would be breaking 60 yards td runs.

I'm a fan of recruiting CBs and playing them at safety. Or fast DT Qbs.

bumped to a 4 star on 247. We just moved to 9th with our 6th 4 star

Cottman...

Excited to where we put him.

Could be another Charlie Garner??

Brandon Powell and Isaiah McKenzie tend to agree with you for some odd reason(he got right in their grills). 😎😎😎😎😎

Idk how someone can make that statement about our best player in the secondary lol

Round 1 of the NFL draft????

That's interesting.

What does Gaulden even play at the next level?

I do and I'm not wavering. The guy will be an elite NB at the next level and is extremely versatile, can essentially line him up anywhere in the secondary.

He's a real good player but stop.

Haha. Unlikely he'll actually go anywhere near 1st.

Personal opinion though. If you pay very close attention to the D, Gaulden has become our central player on that secondary in terms of scheme

And those guys on the D used to tell me that would happen once he was healthy enough to play. Just an unbelievably talented human being

I think ppl say he's awful in coverage cause the first couple games he allowed quiet a bit of catches. That doesn't factor in shutting down Powell and McKenzie to the point they were rarely targetted tho. He's allowed I think 9 catches on 15 targets. He doesn't get targetted nearly as often as other
