'17 FL CB C.J. Cotman (UT commit 7/20/16)

I think ppl say he's awful in coverage cause the first couple games he allowed quiet a bit of catches. That doesn't factor in shutting down Powell and McKenzie to the point they were rarely targetted tho. He's allowed I think 9 catches on 15 targets. He doesn't get targetted nearly as often as other

Who did he give up catches to? Appy State he got a big hit in coverage and didn't get tested. VA.TECH he didn't allow much at all. Ohio they were throwing outside so I'm trying to figure what you all are talking about. Getting lit up is giving up TDs and 15+ yarders in my books. That's just me.....

I think our fanbase thinks that if you give a reception at all then you're not very good.

I do and I'm not wavering. The guy will be an elite NB at the next level and is extremely versatile, can essentially line him up anywhere in the secondary.

I can't remember any team drafting a nickel in the 1st round. Even though everyone uses nickel.

I think hes a round 4 or 5 guy.

He allowed quiet a bit of catches vs VT, you can watch the defenses plays on YouTube.
I never said he gets lit up, I just said he's givin up a decent amount of catches WHEN targeted but does a great job of shutting down the WR and taking him away. Like someone posted the breakdown in another thread he has allowed a pretty high completion% when targetted.

The breakdown is attached below. If these stats are correct Foreman has been our best corner this year.

He shut Brandon Powell out and McKenzie didn't catch a thing over 10 yards on him.

Short routes where they are rubbing him off on mesh routes versus man coverage happen in games. Tell teams to keep targeting him. Texas A&M threw a back shoulder in the middle of the field versus him. He got a PI from playing the hands(with how much A&M DBs got away with shouldn't have been a call).

Casual fans look at percentages I look at games and how he's impacting the games. Georgia he dominated most of that game. Texas A&M didn't challenge him nearly as much as the outside CBs nor did Alabama. I wonder why..... 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
