Have you seen pics of this kid? He is thin---looks like a defensive back. He's got some serious bulking up to do to play LB in the SEC, it would seem.

15-20 lbs ought to do it. Should be easy his first year.

I will say this I just saw his mid season highlights, he looks AND PLAYS a lot bigger than his junior film.

Maggitt was about 190 in Highschool. It took him about 15 minutes to put on 30 pounds

Reid, who’ll arrive in Knoxville on Jan. 8 where he’ll join Naples High products Tyler Byrd and Carlin Fils-aime, racked up 117 tackles, including 15 for a loss, during his senior season, leading the Tigers to a 9-3 record, a District 5A-12 title and a region semifinal. He ultimately chose the Vols over Iowa State, Mississippi State, LSU and Michigan.

“He’s a guy that did everything right. He committed himself to the classroom, to the weight room, to his community, stayed out of trouble and got it all done in 3 ½ years,” Dunbar coach Sammy Brown said. “It’s a testament to him and his family.”

I don't like to nitpick (but I will) Reid played at Dunbar HS in Ft Myers, while Fil-Aime and Byrd were at Naples HS, 30 miles south of Ft Myers.
They did not play together in high school
