'17 FL RB/WR Darrian Felix

Comments from his coach:

"I have been blessed, in over 30 years, to see some great ones," said Sirianni. "I will honestly say Darrian is right in that mix as one of the best I've ever coached. You forget when a kid vertical jumps 43 inches and he's 190-plus pounds. Broad jumps 10-8, those are NFL combine numbers."

Like his film better than Coleman. Has that breakaway speed that Coleman lacks. Home run threats are hard to find.

Different style backs.

Coleman is already 215 and hard to tackle because of his running style.

Not many people have Felix's homerun speed. Like you said...

Offers from Oregon, Auburn, AZ who run same type systems at a very high level.

Then offers from Miami and Arky with two HC that 100 percent know RBs

I think Tennessee could use one of each style. It's possible the Vols could take three RBs, so they theoretically could add Felix and still have room for Akers or Chandler.

That said, Oregon, Miami and others are still very much involved involved with Felix, and some thought at one point that Felix could commit to Oregon as soon as he gets to visit there, so I wouldn't recommend getting too excited about the possibilities. The Vols are definitely contenders, but Felix has discussed wanting to take some official visits this fall.

Coleman is hard to tackle because he runs out of bounds before defenders get a chance.

and doesnt have the star rating that you and many other like. Lets be real, thats the main thing for ya.

Check my post history before making assumptions about my thoughts on stars and recruiting. I have no problem taking guys who aren't rated very highly by the recruiting services. And I've never been one to freak out over taking a 3* if the staff really likes him.

I'm just not impressed by Coleman's highlights is all.

Harris went to Penn State. :) And YOU brought up the playing style. :yu:

Most NFL players do play in college somewhere ;) And technically, LittleVol brought up playing style. So take your passive-aggressive use of smilies and all caps to him 🙄😒😱😂😇💯✌️

Are you using Steelers just to get likes?

I volume shoot...sometimes I get accidental likes. :) But seriously, before Walter Payton broke Jim Brown's rushing record, Brown contemplated coming out of retirement to keep it out of reach of Harris. Whom he didn't respect because he would run out of bounds instead of fighting for that last one or two yards. Anyone looking back at Franco's HOF career, leans one way or another on that. I see a guy who stayed productive for a long time. Wonder if Earl Campbell would've headed to the sideline a little bit more if he knew it would've helped him avoid the wheelchair and having to relearn how to walk?

Seems like the typical under rated back no one pays attention too.Until he explodes on the national scene. When the U was rolling they had kids at rb,wr,dB that were rated low or not highly regarded by the sites.Alot of them wound up being AA and later NFL players.Speed kills and south Fl.speed always seems like it has that turbo gear.

I think this kid will run his way into composite top 100 player by the end of the year.

He's a game changer

That's his go-to move if you question the ability of a lower-ranked commit. He pulled the same BS nonsense with me over Jaquez Jones.
