I am seeing a common theme for every single recruit in this class. It is like we signed a bunch of real life Rocky movie types to fill the class with. Maybe Butch was serious about the 5 star heart stuff lol

What is sad about all of these stupid "Life Champions" jokes is that Tennessee has a lot of real Life Champions. Players and other students who represent our university in a great manner and who go on to do great things, whether it be in athletics or in some other career. I think we can all be proud of athletes like Josh Dobbs simply because they are just good people.

Yep. It's a shame there are so many people who use Vol football as some sort of personal validation to where they have to put down the off-the-field accomplishments of our young men.

I hate losing more than I love winning, but the COL and 5-star hearts comments from Jones, as ill-timed as they were, did have some merit.

They definitely don't have to be dragged around for 6, 7 months though. :deadhorse:

Palmer should have a good chance to IMO. Most game ready out of the freshman, again, JMO.

I also think the need for a freshman WR to play a ton may be slightly overblown. I hope we will be getting a lot more contributions this year from Byrd, Brandon Johnson, Callaway and Latrell Williams, plus Jennings and Smith. I think a smaller rotation could help develop some chemistry with the new QBs.
