What I don't understand is how all the DBs regressed with the addition of Shoop. Always thought Shoop was a DB guy.

That hit piece Haney wrote mentioned defensive philosophy squabbles between the defensive coaches. If Martinez didn't agree with Shoop then could have been a problem. Hard to be a good DB when your positional coach and DC are telling you two different things.
