Horrible. Horrible look. Looking recruits to f'ing Kentucky and USCe is end progressing more and more rapidly.

I'm basically off the Butch train (thinking he can be elite here, I will still root for him and the Vols) and a main reason is the obvious regression in recruiting. Throw out rankings, this was a guy we really wanted. He was towards the top of our CB board, and easily the top CB left on our board. We were battle Kentucky and SCar for this kid. We lost. It's embarrassing. 2 years ago we wouldn't have lost this battle, but there's less to sell and everything is harder to sell.

Butch has some work to do to finish this class

This isn't happening fast enough. The falling on our face in recruiting may end up costing Butch his job.

I give Butch and co all the credit in the world in convincing some elite players to come here in this class. Smith, Gray, Chandler, Murphy. I think we are taking a lot of kids that were backup plans, backup plans, backup plan though

I do not have one.. I have to say though it does seem sketchy that a 2017 recruit would commit on a promise of an offer to his 2018 cousin who is NOT an SEC caliber player..
