'17 GA WR Jeremiah Holloman

I know you're sticking up for your school or whatever, but you know it's bush league. If Eason, Kublanow, Ralph Webb, Cam Sutton and Josh Dobbs all transferred to Florida because they won the East last year, you'd be more than suspicious. With kids from South, Central, Shiloh, Newton, and Peachtree Ridge all transferring there -- and it's not scrubs, it's their best players -- it creates an unfair competitive advantage, and you know it. It's recruiting, plain and simple, and if you say it's not, you're in denial.

And I know all about that neat-o tech program. I'm sure every 4- and 5-star transfer y'all get is just dying to become a marine biologist. Plus, with Discovery High doing the same thing just down the road, it takes away one more excuse for y'all to use to cheat. Don't see a lot of kids transferring to Discovery, do ya?

So when I purposefully bought a house in the Grayson School district because I preferred the school district for my two daughters over the one we were in; then I was cheating. Or is it your position that only football players who transfer reach the cheating threshold? Last I checked it's a free country and you're allowed to live where you want without your kids being penalized. Your solution is to not allow students to play sports at their new HS when their parents decide to move...because in your world every parent with a kid who plays sports and decides to move to a new school district is participating in cheating. Btw; football players take advantage of the tech program, as do other athletes.

It depends on chubb. If he is healthy they should win if not its a toss up. They will be starting either a crappy qb or a true fresh qb.

Chubb will open preseason camp without limitation. The physical side is there by every account. It will come down to whether he's mentally ready.

My money is on Chubb. I think he gets 15+ carries against UNC and split with Sony/MAYBE Holyfield.

Eh I think it really doesnt matter. UNC is a good team but IMO, UGA is a better complete team.

Dont disagree but unc is not terrible and i really dont love uga. Chubb being average or honestly anything but great could result in their offense being a mess. Any loss of momentum is good for ut. I see smart as muschamp 2.0. They will be solid on d but he is a defensive coach who may not know what buttons to push on offense when they struggle.

I think GA beats on UNC. Just too talented top to bottom.

UGA not going to come out of the blocks hitting on all cylinders. Not with an entirely new staff, and questions on both sides of the ball, but especially at QB and the injury to Michel and the uncertainty with Chubb's return.

And UNC will be pretty good, IMO. I would not be surprised if the Tarheels won.

I agree it would pump the brakes on that hype train a little bit. What would be even more sweet is a couple loses to teams uga should beat.

I'm a UGA fan. I'm not sure UNC is a team we "should" beat. That may be the average UGA fan expectation, but Georgia has way too many new faces for me to judge anything right now. New staff, possible new QB, possible new RB for a few games (I'm skeptical Chubb will start the season 100%), several new WR's. And we'll need contributions from some new DL too. Lots of mistakes are the only thing I'm confident about.

Thats how my uga connections see uga too. Its hard to predict anything with college sports but talent wise uga should beat unc. Im talking a loss to a kentucky or someone like that would really put a damper on the smart hype.

No way you're a Dawg fan. Way too introspective.

Don't act like these guys are moving from all over for the place for the great education. Grayson is a good school, sure, but it's just as good as Brookwood or North or Mill Creek. Shoot, Meadowcreek has some of the highest SAT scores in the state. They're not exactly a powerhouse, are they?

You know why they're coming to Grayson. "If you can't beat em, join em" happens everywhere now. Same thing as Durant going to Golden State. Lebron to Miami. It happens at Tucker, Norcross, and Stephenson. People want to win the easy way.

Don't be naïve, GreysonDawg. Hey, at least this way you get to follow recruiting for both UGA and Grayson!

They've been saying since the spring game they have double digit silents. I thought they were homers until over half of the ones they had said are now verbals. Georgia's class this year will be top 5 easy. Just gonna have to deal with it. Kirby is selling the future

Think it helps that almost his entire staff was already in the SEC or South in general and had relationships with kids. Whether he was integral in it or not he was 1 game away from having to remove his wedding band to make room for his NC rings. Can't imagine 4 NC rings hurt his efforts.
