'17 GA WR Jeremiah Holloman

Thanks for that. He only has 4 official schools interested in him going by 247 Sports. That probably means Georgia is out & it's down to one of those 3 other schools.

More schools will jump in on the action. He hasn't received an offer since he committed to UGA so he's been completely off the radar for most schools/coaches.

Jeremiah Holloman continues to give Tennessee attention.
The Scout 300 wide receiver and four-star prospect tripped up to Rocky Top on Thursday to take part in an invite-only cookout. The Vols are in a tight competition with Georgia, Notre Dame and others for his services.

“What sticks out (about Tennessee) is they have a lack of receivers right now and going into 2017 that sticks out highly,” Holloman told InsideTennessee. “Then, on top of that, the relationship that me and (Tennessee wide receivers) coach Z (Zach Azzanni) has is really good. So that’s a good factor.
“(Azzanni) is like a family oriented type of guy, just real close to me and all that. It’s not just business, it’s personal with him.”
The 6-foot-2, 185-pounder was part of a star-studded group of visitors for Orange Carpet Day in mid-June.
“I had a real good time just being around the coaches and seeing how they are outside of football and just being good people,” Holloman said. ‘It was a great experience.”
The Scout No. 10-rated wide receiver in the South also came to Knoxville for camp this summer.
“I went up there and got a chance to see them coaching,” the four-star said. “I didn’t camp. I watched them coach the younger guys that were there and the recruits that were there, just seeing coach Z getting after it, teaching them the top of the routes and stuff like that. It’s just a great experience to be around.”
Less than two weeks ago, Holloman took part in The Opening Finals in a “great experience,” competing against the “cream of the crop.”
Holloman gauged his skills against the other elite receivers: “I’m up there with them. All of us are very talented, very athletic, and I’d say I can definitely compete with them.”
The Newton (Ga.) High School pass catcher already has a prep teammate committed to the Big Orange in four-star linebacker Jaquan Henderson. Holloman does not know what schools will host him for official visits. He’s “trying to work that out” with whether or not he will enroll in college in January. He has a qualifying ACT score of 20.

Doubt it. Murphy is slot. Plus why would Holloman visit UT just to do what he could over the phone?

Wish we could have pulled Holloman. At least Butch got him to visit and did give us a chance.

3 star on rivals though so I don't know lol see how it works

I think most people are using the 247 composite now. Holloman is ranked the 153rd best prospect and is a 4 star on their site. So yes it is a concern to lose out on a recruit that good. I wouldn't just pick Rivals because it fits the argument.

This guy is the 2nd best WR in the 2017 class IMO. I think he has some Dez Bryant to his game.

If we get him, I think it'll soften the blow of losing out on Tee Higgins.
