If he thinks Mecole was a better player than Eric Berry I would not be riding with him because he must be smoking something.

A guy who has seen a lot of Georgia football players play live over the years while standing on the field with them told me his opinion which was, Mecole Hardman (the 5*, number #1 athlete in the nation last year) was the best player he had ever seen play hs football. Not sure how that is so outrageously funny either. Just thought it was interesting to hear that perspective.

The possibility is not as much of a stretch as you would like to believe. Also, remember it's an opinion.

I hope Mecole has a terrible career because of who he plays for, but it doesn't matter what their rankings were. Eric Berry was an all time great in college. Your turn Mecole.

Mecole is a special athlete. I don't think he is better than EB but he's going to be really really good. It's a shame he didn't want to come play WR with Guarantano. That would have been 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Holloman said some good things about Tennessee, and it's obvious that he has been high on the Vols for a while. But a few positive comments don't necessarily mean that a school leads for that player. Everything I've continued to hear from people close to his recruitment over the past couple of months suggest Georgia is in the driver's seat, and I heard the same thing about yesterday in the Atlanta area. Tennessee still has a shot, though.

He's not better than Byrd. And GA isn't even using him on offense. I'd rather have Byrd any day of the week than Mecole

I wouldn't. Byrd will be great but mecole in this offense would have been a thing of beauty. Also I'm aware of how Georgia is wasting his talent

Byrd and Mecole played in the army game. One of them stood out and the other was very forgetful... Not saying that Mecole won't be good, but Byrd is better imo. He is a game changer.

He isn't better than Eric Berry that's crazy talk. Plus he is playing corner so not really going to matter since he won't get to show off his true talent

Callaway also outperformed him all week at practices too. But yeah they think they've got the best ever out of Georgia huh? OKAY lol

He could be right but I think Mecole screwed his potential by choosing to play CB instead of WR.

If he choose WR he could be Antonio Brown 2.0. But he wants to be a CB. And at CB he's only serviceable. He doesn't have elite NFL potential at that position.
