'17 GA WR Jeremiah Holloman

Since you spilled the beans with the Simmons info here's what his quote was. He said he would consider Tennessee the leader with Miami second and Georgia in 3rd. He said Miami was coming on but he felt like Butch Jones was in a good spot.

Actually, you spilled the beans, I just gave credit to the source.

Holloman. He's ranked higher

Depends on what site you compare them on. Harris is ranked higher on certain sites and Holloman is higher on others. Can't go wrong with either and getting both would be even better.

Holloman is clearly the better prospect and he is more of a need for our team right now than Harris. We have enough tall guys that can't run fast on our team right now. Need more pullaway speed.

Agreed..I do like Holloman better than Harris. But our last recruiting class brought in some very speedy WR's. Hell if we don't start using the WR's for something more than as blockers then it doesn't matter how fast they run. But I fully expect next season to be when our receivers start putting up good numbers and our passing yardage gets to where Butch and Debord want it to be whether it's Dormady or JG. Both can take our passing game to the next level which we haven't had since Bray,Hunter and CP left. Would love it to start this year but have my doubts that Dobb's can ever do that. Hope like hell he proves me wrong.. If I could pick an ideal yardage per game I would go with 275-300 yards in the air and maybe 175-200 on the ground. That's 450-500 total yards per game and with Shoop commanding our D we would just about be unbeatable. Oh well I can dream. They we would start seeing Top 5 QB's,RB's and WR's fighting to come play in this offense.

No way for Holloman and his mom to know this. If they're "stat watching", it'll probably be something like Eason: 2500 yds, 15 tds....JG: 0 yds, 0 tds since he's slated for a redshirt.

That would be very easy. If someone did their "research," they would know that Dormady and JG can throw the ball around. Clemson can still recruit WR's even though Watson is gone. There is more than just what numbers the QB's put up.

True, but if you're a recruit and his mom and they say stats are important, it'll be the known vs the unknown IMO. Then you throw in the negative recruiting and consistently poor passing numbers since Butch has been here. We're at a significant disadvantage.

Based on what? JG will likely be a backup next year while Eason wil probably be slinging it all over the field as a starter.

Throwing the football doesnt seem to be one of Tennessee's strengths. Look at the WR talent that is being completely wasted in our offense.

I doubt JG backs Dormady.....

50/50 on that, for me. I want to see more from QD, but it'll be an open job in the spring. If Butch still wants to run the read option, as with Dobbs, it certainly favors JG

JG is better in every area. Ball just explodes out of his hand. His arm talent is great and what had him the talk of fall camp remember?

The only way JG starts over Dormady is if Dormady transfers or is injured. CBJ is not a risk taker. Would be more comfortable with the player with the most experience. JMO
