Don't want to disrespect Marshall but I would rather see us going after some of the higher rated WRs at this point.

Doesnt matter. Every offer on his list is committable except the one from Tennessee. If he were to pledge to us, then his spot isnt safe and he would likely flip. Butch sucks at recruiting. On the bright side, he is a 4* so that automatically means he is a good player and a take.

I'm not saying that at all. Just pointing the composite rating out which isn't 4*. I actually like Marshall. Talented guy. I'm just not sure where he fits, if he does. I got the sense the staff was seeking 2 slot guys this class. We've got Jones and Murphy. Fant so far on the outside. Maybe with Byrd looking good they have decided 1 slot guy is enough and go with Marshall. I don't see us taking 4 WRs though.

From what I have seen, I agree. I think we have current commits as good or better. He isn't really an upgrade so no need to ask a current guy to look around in order to move laterally on the talent scale. Unless the coaches see things differently then I think this young man plays elsewhere. He has some good moves and looks talented but nothing that makes you just have to have him. I hope he does well wherever he goes.

Been searching through all the recruiting reports and I cannot seem to find where it says that we are focused on Justin Marshall ay WR. Must have missed it. Must have been a mistake when I was reading those stories about Jeremiah Holloman.

Henderson, Marshall, and Holloman are teammates. I'd bet they would be willing to take all three of hey could.
