'17 IL WR Jeff Thomas

Read somewhere that it was believed that changes were forthcoming with the coaching staff, but wouldn't be made until after NSD. That included the possibility that CZA would be moving on...and its rumored he is looking around. If that is the case, then bringing Walker on board now in a QC position would likely lead to him being named the WR coach if indeed CZA were to depart. JMO.

I would be just fine with that! I know there will be some people that will say he shouldn't jump straight to a positional coach because he doesn't have experience coaching, but I say if he impresses Butch and shows that he could be a good teacher, lock him in now. Even if Azzani stays this year he is most likely gone next, perfect chance to jump right in for Welker.

I haven't read anything officially about after NSD. LWS says most, if not all, coaching changes will take place in the next next 7 to 10 days. John Brice has got some quotes out there that also suggest it would be sooner rather than later.

Coming from that above average layman who thought Dobbs would win the Heisman and UT would go undefeated.

I have no idea who will become the starter and especially because we have had ZERO insights into the competition. But Dormady is a talented guy who knows the system. In brief glimpses, he has delivered the ball more accurately than Dobbs.j

If Jones can't figure the OL out and UT needs a guy that will be running for his life... then maybe JG or even SJ is the answer. If the Vols have a good enough OL to succeed with a more pure QB then QD may very well be the best option.

That's a great point. The QB battle may be decided as much by the balance of the offense as the differences between the two... Or three quarterbacks.

I think us having the last visit will allow us to get this recruit. I think he honestly doesn't know much about tennessee but seeing our facilities and fan support will blow him away. We will have the most friendly depth chart and we have the potential to win at a high level

He hasn't taken any officials to Louisville or Miami since the AU game right? If So these CBs are purely speculation.

After he visits us on the 27th and compares our facilities with Louisville, Miami and Illinois, he's a Vol

Our facilities definitely top those of Louisville and Illinois, and one would imagine having to travel 30 minutes to get to your stadium to see almost no one there most of the time has to be a real buzzkill for recruits visiting Miami.

Maybe so but they are correct more than they are wrong....especially when it is getting down to the wire...

Lol, No they're not.

The point made was that he had two different people CB him to two different schools on the same day, both of which he hasn't even visited yet. It's a shot in a dark from an "analyst". This kid won't know where he's going until he's visited everywhere.

Louisville actually has solid facilities.
