'17 IL WR Jeff Thomas

I'd say Miami is out, just due to distance alone. Illinois is nowhere near a title contender so I think they're out. Between us, and Louisville. I'd say we're closer to a title contender, but Louisville is a little closer to home and Petrine runs a great offense. We get an edge for better facilities (tho Louisville's are nice) and an edge for having the last visit. Would be huge get that would allow us to move Byrd to corner. IMO if we land Welkee that could really help secure this one considering he would play a similar role to him

It is. 7 hours isn't exactly a comfortable drive, but you'd be right.

I used to make a 10 hour drive to and from Knoxville. Deff didn't want to do that more than a few times a year though.

Sissy..I do that much almost every freakin day.

I have to take clients to UL hospital sometimes...I hate Louisville. It is a disgusting, depressing place. Oh yeah...you may get murdered just walking down the street. It is a pretty common occurrence there.

Read somewhere that it was believed that changes were forthcoming with the coaching staff, but wouldn't be made until after NSD. That included the possibility that CZA would be moving on...and its rumored he is looking around. If that is the case, then bringing Walker on board now in a QC position would likely lead to him being named the WR coach if indeed CZA were to depart. JMO.

Welker has zero experience as a WR coach. Not sure why he would be considered an upgrade.

Clusterf**k currently regarding administration at University of Louisville... in real danger of losing accreditation. Certainly a point for negative recruiting.

Coming from that above average layman who thought Dobbs would win the Heisman and UT would go undefeated.

I have no idea who will become the starter and especially because we have had ZERO insights into the competition. But Dormady is a talented guy who knows the system. In brief glimpses, he has delivered the ball more accurately than Dobbs.

If Jones can't figure the OL out and UT needs a guy that will be running for his life... then maybe JG or even SJ is the answer. If the Vols have a good enough OL to succeed with a more pure QB then QD may very well be the best option.

JG is a pure QB. He just can run.... 😎 😎 😎 😎 😎

So with Jaylen Harris eliminating us from his list, does this mean anything in regards to Thomas, or is this situation just going to go until he gets all of his visits in?
