Anybody interview Hunter Johnson last week? Wanted to see his comments on the whole experience.
Steve Wiltfong tweeted this morning Johnson was slated to visit Notre Dame twice this fall... Dang it. I knew his recruitment wasn't gonna be as easy as it seemed.

I did think we would have at least hurd a, "the Tennessee game was like nothing I've ever seen in my life." "I am now officially a VFL!"

Good! Get this QB locked down for 2017, and then focus on other things. Dang. Would be awesome to have the next 3 years at QB locked down.

I just wish all these guys were coming in for a better game. Rain in the forecast and an opponent no one is excited about, everybody still bummed out about Florida. I just hope there is a decent atmosphere without too many empty seats.

I agree. Although maybe the coaches will have more time to spend one on one with recruits.

This is his second visit this year already. Supposedly his father is a big UT fan.

Just have to wonder if our all of a sudden top notch QB depth will scare him off.

Truth is, we've always had top notch QB depth (according to rankings out of high school). Nobody has panned out recently. We still have no proven QB on the roster. QBs should be licking their chops for the opportunity that is available. No one knows if Dobbs, Dormady, JJ, or Kendall will prove elite.

Just a reminder, Nathan Peterman was the highest ranked QB that's currently on our roster. Look where that's got us

very true.

We have 3 highly rated QB's committed already in the 15 and 16 classed. It isn't a given any of them pan out but you have to think a highly rated guy like Johnson will be looking at that.

It's funny. For an offense that run's the zone read, we sure do recruit a lot of pro-style quarterbacks.

:p

Would love to land him especially with the KY site (I know they are huge homers) claiming Austin Kendall is still wide open.

It's possible but if UK keeps performing well then Stoops will get hired somewhere else. Probably like the James Franklin and Vandy deal was. It's a long way till 2016 signing day so Kendall is wide open but I think he enjoys UT and UK being 4-1 isn't super impressive but impressive non the less. They have beaten UT Martin, Vandy, Ohio, and USCe (lost close to UF) and USCe is a good win for now but I have no idea how USCe will finish. I do think UK is a little better right now but we will improve over the season.

The title says that but he doesn't. He just says he is open to listening and letting people recruit him since you never know what happens.

Stoops at Michigan make a ton of sense but I don't know that they could pleae their fan base with that one. Stoops will get a bigger job somewhere and the Neal Brown their OC will get the HCc job

Article on 247. In short...

"They’re definitely up at the top,” Johnson said. “There is a couple schools there. There is a lot of things to like about Tennessee."
