I really don't see the big deal. We have Guarantano coming in this year as well as the #1 qb in the 2018 class(right?), someone was going to leave. I can't think of a single team ever to be that stacked at qb, if Hunter had stayed.

No way no how! Just got slammed earlier today for having reservations about the possibility that something may be going on with recruiting besides asking kids to look elsewhere so we can upgrade. This is a big deal. I would get it if he was going to a school where he could just step right in and play, but the #1 team in the country would not be my first guess on where he would flip.

Them being the number 1 team in the country might have something to do with it.

This class still looks pretty good and could close extremely well. I'm not worried yet overall...but this week has just been body blow after body blow.

I think the whole "Legacies propped up the classes" thing is a little overplayed. JMO.

You like to say that to disparage Butch but in terms of high rated legacies? You're only talking about 4 players here (Todd Kelly JR, Kahlil McKenzie, Dillon Bates, Evan Berry). Give me a break.

You do realize the two commits that were politely asked to look elsewhere have nothing to do with Hunter Johnson whatsoever. Yes there is something occurring on the Hill, it's called we are loaded at qb and something had to give. He won't be the last qb to bail out I can assure you of that one. The days of keeping four highly rated qb's on the roster happy are over.
