Wade and Nixon were both supposed to commit Saturday. Penn state got a CB commit last night and Nixon decides to commit 3 days early? 🤔

So, 3 possibilities:

1> lost out on a guy we wanted
2> getting Corker and/or Wade
3> numbers tight because of McBride pickup

We dropped cotmanbc we wanted a Juco CB to play immediately (as tho those guys always work out)
And that didn't happen. So now we are on plan C.
So... we won?

Need corker bad. He has been a top target for awhile.

One thing I am curious about is around the Terry Fair smoke. It seems like high odds he is the new CB coach after bowl. There may be some new names pop up with his connections.

Edit:NM Twitter is all Lamecock already. Boo. Not only are we shallow at DB we don't even know if Martinez is coming back (he shouldnt). We have DB on roster that I think are much better than the numbers suggest they've just had poor coaching for too long.

Not Foreman or Moseley. Both of them need to be taken out to pasture.

I didn't say we won. But to say we aren't getting anybody when we're very obviously pursuing some good prospects seems to be a pretty ridiculous overstatement, don't you think? Especially when we're in a good position with at least one of them.

Corker is also no plan C.

Yep. We honestly could not sign a single kid a probably be good at CB with better coaching there. Martin, Mosely, Buchanon, Osborne are plenty talented. Then roll Byrd in that group

I think they need to reconsider Abernathy at CB/N. Have to get Warrior on field next year and I don't see them benching Kelly

We wanted more "experienced" CB's, not necessarily a Juco. Therefore, we wanted a guy who wasn't raw at the CB position. But keep spinning it.
