'17 JUCO CB Keisean Nixon (South Carolina Commit 12/14/2016)

So when Moore who decommitted from SC commits to the Vols in a few weeks, what then?

Baaaaa! Baaaaaaaa!!!

Losing this kid, and Butch never beating Muschamp isn't the problem. The problem IS that year 4 is in the books and Butch desperately needed a JUCO DB to commit to give the secondary a chance in YEAR 5. Not that this kid is the answer or anything.

Also, wouldn't count those chickens before they hatch.

Dude, we don't need this kid go give the secondary a chance next year.

Get out of here with that nonsense.

We need better coaching from the position coach and the coordinator and from the head coach. This dude is far from a make or break for UT or anyone for that matter.

Using your argument against you makes me a sheep? Okay... ignored

Eh, I'm sure we reevaluated and decided to go away from the experienced corners mindset. Let's just go with it anyways.

Cotman, we was just playing man! Come on back!

Why would he set an announcement date for 12/17 and then commit three days earlier? Do you think his offer was pulled too, so he just committed to his other finalist?

Makes zero sense. I bet anything we told him to go elsewhere.... Too many people are saying this is going to be a great class. There is something behind the scenes that all of us do not know about...

I hope you guys are right.

I think we absolutely need an influx of new talent at CB regardless of coaching/technical deficiencies.

Even if Mosely and co. Have break out years, it's pretty barren behind (and including) them.

Are the guys on the roster that we honestly think can take a teams #1 and contain/shut them down

Byrd would be my thought but he's being used as a satellite player on Offense

Not a big deal here imo. Always want to see a young man choose Tennessee, especially over a dump like SCar. But I honestly would rather see this staff focus on top Highschool talent. For whatever reason, we just haven't had much success going the JUCO route during Butch's tenure, outside of Pearson and Kamara, who they've had difficulties integrating into the offense, as though they didn't know what they had in him. I know that bringing in a top JUCO is generally regarded as a way to quickly fix a problem....I just don't that that's really true here in recent years.
