UGA sucks with Kirby Smart but they still seem to get 4 & 5* recruits still??? Some kids really don't care about win/losses as long as they're comfortable with the coaching staff or the school in general.

They don't care as much when it's a new staff. If Kirby and his crew were still winning at the same pace in year three as they are now. Recruiting would drop way off. Right now they can sell these aren't my recruits and if you come here you will be my guy.

I had a buddy who was a QB at duke. Spurrier basically told him when he took over. You will never start here your not one of my guys.

True but that doesnt account for Bama and OSU getting the best guys every year. Winning matters big time imo. As far as UGA goes they are the instate power house school and we know UGA is one of the states that produces some of the best talent. So Georgia will always get big time recruits for the simple fact of their state.

Now if we could just do like UGA does and actually get the instate talent we would be on to something. Problem is we aren't.

Aren't you glad of that? Otherwise, Butch wouldn't have been able to bring TN back without 4 and 5 star recruits.

Alabama has dropped Jed Wills....
Kentucky makes the most sense here, but I wouldn't be shocked to see Tennessee make a call and see if they could get in on him.

After some talk that Alabama was dropping him, they have indeed sent him the paperwork and it looks like he will end up with Alabama after all. Just spoke to a buddy of mine down in Birmingham and it appears they have everything in line now for him with the Tide. Sorry for the confusion.

Losing Brice and P Fort really hurt Hubbs. Now he's stuck with Austin as his go to guy for information.

P Fort was a big loss for sure. Brice doesn't do much recruiting information at 247. He'll chime in every now and then with a nugget of information, but I typically take it with a grain of salt. Can't remember how much recruiting work he did at VQ. He has made the football team coverage exponentially better at 247 now that Rucker has less to do.
