'17 LA CB Cheyenne Labruzza (UT signeee)

Possibly, but since its announced today I have to assume it's been in the works for a while.

In the works and finalized are two seperate things. People worked up over "BSiA" would get a double dose of delite at having recruits meet the "new DB's coach" and then have the hire fall through. :thud:

Agree. I should have rephrased my initial post to more along the lines of why didn't TN push to get this done before the weekend? Regardless, I'm glad a new DB coach is coming in - couldn't stand to watch our corners have position and never look for ball.

Probably a large number would admit (under interrogation) screaming at all of our DBs to do just that...specially against Vandy. :pinch:

You know it. Moseley in particular is difficult to watch. Seems to always be right there but never looks. Wish we could add one of those bike helmet mirrors to his face mask.

IMO, u nailed it both times. No doubt an upgrade, just wish they got it done in time, like u said twice

I understand kids being concerned with having to form a new relationship, but in my opinion one call from CCW will solidify their decision to come to Tennessee. I think he calls them talks about the weaknesses with our secondary under Martinez, how he will fix it, and says "I can turn you into a NFL draft pick."

It will be obvious to our DB recruits that Warren is a good teacher and coach. But so much is built on relationships between recruits and coaches. Warren will be busy contacting all the recruits building a relationship with each. Warren has had too much success with his players not to let this transition be a problem. Once they get to know him, they will be excited.

There is also a difference in why the coach left. If a coach leaves of his own free will (hired away by another school), that's one thing. Kids might then be worried about the replacement. When a coach is let go and replaced, you would have to at least assume that it was to get someone better I would think.
