'17 LA RB Trey Coleman (UT signee)

I live in West Monroe and lots of my friends don't think this kid is going to end up playing at UT. Not that he wouldn't want to, but that he isn't good enough. Just the word on the street here...although he is supposed to be a super kid.

This was a jamboree game-glorified pre-season game. The regular season starts next Friday. Check his stats on the Sept 9th against John Curtis and that should tell you a lot more about this kid.

So since you do appear to have a persistently negative view of recruiting, why don't you summarize exactly why you feel that Butch's recruiting is substandard. In the interest of offering a fair and balanced perspective, please limit said summary to those who actually signed with the team, and please limit it to the last 3 years. To gain the full 100 points for the exercise, please show where Butch's choices at each star level consistently under-perform relative to other coaches choices at similar star levels. Extra credit: Show how Butch's recruiting is worse than Dooley.

Please submit you paper double spaced on clean white paper. We will grade your paper on content and creativity, just moments after we finish watching team 120 beat the ever living $hit out of the rest of the league.

Methinks the high concentrations of airborne acetic acid from Eastman may be rotting the feel-good parts of your brain.


P.S. Mostly offered with a touch of blue, but com'on dude, let's at least wait until we sign busts before being so down about it.

I've said several times I'm happy with most of our 3 star players for 2017. Coleman was a little curious. Offer list wasn't that great, and when you're a RB from LA with No LSU offer....

There was once a 2* DT from LA with no LSU offer. He plays for them now. Be patient. Kid will either blow up or not, and will either sign or he won't. Until that time, find your zen and maybe there will be less of the incessant pissing matches around here.
