Talked to some people about this today and what they are hearing:

They honestly have no clue. They have reason to be optimistic but the prevailing thought is that he will choose FSU.

Instead he racked up yardage against garbage defenses. I stand by my thoughts that if Akers commits with Chandler already on board, Kelly will most likely see his carries nose dive by mid season next year.

You never said "carries most likely nosedive" before. You said it definitively that he would be THIRD string by mid season. Prove it.

Been fan for 48 year's this is our fan base 50-50 split in the 90s when we were going 11 and 1 or 10 and 2 it was the same way i was let down after the Vandy game but coach Jones is here for at least 2 more year's and by the way who are you going to get BIG BAD JIM BOB COTTER, so they better watch what they are wishing for we might get another DD, no so called big name is coming here at least BUTCH can recruit and we are in the games plus the talent level was 14th in the SEC when he took the job but to build the depth on the OL and DL it is a 5 or 6 year process.

Kelly is a really good RB. Emmitt Smith didn't have elite speed. (No I'm not saying Kelly is Emmitt)

still would think it is down to FSU and Us.... If he picks Ole Miss that is fine, it is his decision, but other than their QB, that program is definitely not on the rise anymore.... would definitely cause some curiosity and questions as to why he would got to a program that seems to be sliding backwards with potential sanctions(whatever they are) looming... If he just wants to stay closer to home, believe it or not, it would almost make more sense to go to Miss ST. Either way I am staying positive with the Trey, Ty, and Gillespie ties and saying he will be a VOL.

Doubt it means anything, but with the setup for tonight's commitment...all the hats from the video where Cam said he was announcing the 27th are the same except for Tennessee's. Changed from a black hat to an Orange hat.

This is right on point. The failure of some fans to grasp this concept boggles my mind. CBJ probably won't be the next Nick Satan but he has pulled us out of the kiffin/dookie dark years with solid recruiting. He isn't perfect, but I'm damn glad to have the guy.
