It's not a sad way of doing it, it's a p**** way to do it. Be a man and have enough respect for the kid and his family to call them personally and tell them what is happening and be honest. Don't get upset if a kid flips and say kids don't understand what 'commitment' means when apparently coaches don't know the meaning either.
I understand changes happen, but show respect (both ways commit or coach) and remember, you are only good as your word.
Hmmm makes no sense
Crap happens, it's recruiting. You being a member at four separate teams sites, you should know better.
I really enjoyed being on Vol Nation. I think I am crazy like most of you on here and have felt the love. This is less about another school and more about what Tenn has done. We have had one text in 3 weeks.. Best interest for us to step back. We are greatful for Tenn and because of that Chase has had this rate increase. Thanks again

Tennessee
- A couple guys trending down on Tennessee's commit list include Maleik Gray, still a Top247 four-star but now ranked outside the Top100. We're still waiting him to show more physicality on defense. Defensive tackle commit Breyon Gaddy moves down to the three-star range but he remains a high upside prospect because of his massive frame.
- Tight end Chase Rogers deserves a raise among the three-stars. He's having a monster year and we'll have a chance to see him in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star classic for further evaluation. Shawn Shamburger is scrappy and physical at cornerback and warrants a small bump as well.-247 today
