Tennessee has long been regarded as Clemsons biggest challenger for Foster, while Notre Dame crept into the equation when Foster visited there last month.
I like Notre Dame because its small, Foster said. Theyre huge on academics. I like the rush position they would use me at. I probably talk to them every two or three weeks. Its just nice up there, I like the atmosphere.
With Tennessee, its a huge atmosphere, and game day is big up there. I have a good relationship with the coaches, and Ive been up there so many times I know it like the back of my hand, just like Clemson.
Foster said he would like to take another round of visits to Clemson, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Georgia and maybe others before releasing a top three during the fall.
He said he does not plan to advance his recruitment further before his senior season.
Clemson, though, remains a prominent factor.
I just like going back there, Foster said. Ive seen everything really except the new facility thats going up. Just really talking to the coaches face-to-face, thats much better than over the phone. I like talking with them, and you get a feel for them when youre talking face-to-face.
