Clemson Rivals now reporting that sources tell them that TN is not in the picture in his recruitment anymore...

Anyone know if we moved on once we realized he wasn't going to be able to play LB?

Going forward, no one is allowed to say Clemson....say orange kitty cats or something like that.

Sensing a trend... TN leads or neck and neck in recruiting battle heading into a Clemson visit. After visit kid comes out disliking TN so much they kick to the curb. No telling what they put in heir heads. I could understand liking someone better but they seem to just straight not like us at all after visiting

Sounds like a lot of kids playing 'Follow the leader' instead of looking out for their own best interest. Too bad some good ole boy didn't pistol whip Dabo when he was in the area.

All I can at this point is just laugh.

It almost seems like the staff would sign a better class if they literally didn't recruit anyone and just let things fall as they may

So umm... Who exactly are we getting in this class now?

It seems that over half of the guys we expected to make up or headline this class have nothing to do with us anymore.

Honestly on this one the way the article was worded it looks as if this wasn't an "us being eliminated" type of situation.

I really think our recruitment of Foster was 100% tied to him being and LB and his intense liking of TN was that our coaches saw him as an LB.

Recently I remember reading somewhere in this thread that he had gained some weight and our coaches had started to questions if he would stay at LB.

So that could have made us say look we like you Justin but at DE we have others higher on the board and make Foster say well I liked you really only due to you liking me as a LB so if I have to play DE I will go to the school where my sister went where I am more comfortable (Clemson).

Makes sense.

You can't have it both ways. You can't ask the coaches to honor commitments but ridicule them when numbers get tight and start making fun of mutually parting ways.

IMO it great to see coaches realizing the sports are extremely low and turning talented kids away like Ross.

Or it wasn't mutual parting of ways at all. I didn't really buy it in the Ross situation either. I think they are just misses.

This one could be for sure but regardless you need to show some consistency in your convictions. I like to think I have when it comes to this subject but you are jumping all across the line to criticize
