It very well could be hypocrisy. The fact is though, no one really knows if that's what is happening or not. We only get one side of a story when these things happen. The coaching staff is not allowed to talk about it (NCAA rules) so all we get is half the story. Isn't it just as bad to assume the coaches are doing something wrong when all we are getting is half the story. I have seen plenty of comments from people saying that if it is in fact what is happening then it is wrong for them to do it. To go any further than that with it, with only having half the story, is silly.

Oh and btw...see, we are having a civil discussion right now. :hi:

It won't be if we replace him with a better prospect. IMO, he was a candidate to be moved inside, and we don't need projects at DT right now.

Fans have high standards....I understand.

This is a message board and ppl have a right to praise the success and criticize the mediocrity. The class did stink for a while. Had I hopes and we were getting less talent...it got criticized. ...supporters bashed..the lesser talent cruit now getting ignored...supporters silent...hmmmm lol

Took 82 off ignore and still can't figure out what the heck point he is trying to make. We all have opinions and well thought out opinions with discussion is fine. However, what you are trying to point out about hypocrisy just is not making any sense to me. I judge the coach and staff once season is completed and try to do the same with a recruitment class. Like some thing and do not like others. I don't have to support a coach in everything he does to not be considered a hypocrite. He's not Jesus and Jesus is the only one I better agree with everything on. But having a positive opinion about the program in one area and a different opinion about another area is not hypocritical.

See, the thing is, you don't have the information to know who the inferior talent is. Whether or not CBJ makes the decisions I would, there is no question that he has way more data than you or I do.

Time to let this one go. You've made your point and now you're just just taking up lines on the board with the same thought over and over. At this point people either agree with what you're saying, disagree or are like me and don't really care but wish you would move to a new idea.

We have known for some time now that there was going to be plenty of movement in the commitment list as we get closer to NSD. Not sure why everyone is so upset. It's part of the process. I admit that Lawson was a surprise, but there lots of high ceiling recruits that are just now making decisions. The changes are not over yet.

Best of luck to Mr. Lawson. Wish you success at your final choice.

Another failed evaluation. This staff is just awful at evaluating recruits early in the process. I had hoped it would get better but it is getting worse.

Bird in hand Bruin. They take the commit and then upgrade when they have the chance. Deal with it.
