No, no he didn't. He opened it up because he plans to take visits. It makes sense to not be a commit if you aren't 100%. Anyone throwing shade at him over that is a mouth breathing idiot.
I'd say we only need 2-3 receivers for 2017. There will be plenty.
WRs are a dime a dozen. We need two really good ones next class which we will get. If the TN boys don't want in we will find two, see ya wouldn't want to be ya. Now if this was two DTs then it would bother me
Rodgers and Higgins are both elite. These aren't average WRs at all. Both would play Year 1. IMO

Yeah..they are good no doubt. The fact that are both basically from Knoxville, and Rodgers is our NC winning QBs son, make this suck even worse. It is embarrassing. I hope we get one of them at least. There are a lot of big fish in the WR sea, and I'm sure we can get some just as good, but the circumstances make it worse.
This will be the second time he has committed to someone. He is more than likely going to change his mind again before February 2017 rolls around.
I hope he is making the decision based on what is right for him and not just following the crowd or decisions of other recruits.

Higgins is the killer. Big WRs that can make plays on anyone are a must get. Now Rodgers has exceptional leaping ability and body control as well. But the size Higgins has makes the difference to me.

Clemson with the way they use WRs kinda makes sense to me if he chose to go there.
Well, look at the way UT fans talk about Tee Martin (you can find plenty of examples on this board). The fanbase has basically disowned the guy. Not surprising at all to me that his son isn't chomping at the bit to play here.
Maybe..but the staff is showing they can adjust. It would suprise me if the passing game does nit get featured more this year. The under center packages are screaming play action success..IF..Dobbs gets a little more accurate on his deep ball. Defenses are going to crash the line to stop the run.
Once again Tee has brought this on himself. He was a hero. It is not just one thing either.

I'm not going to comment on whether or not Tee deserves the criticism he gets. My point is that I'm sure his son has heard it many times growing up in Knoxville. I could easily understand how Amari might have a bad taste in his mouth after hearing all the negativity about his dad from UT fans over the past few years. That's all I'm saying.
