Clemson has had it's 15 minutes. Will not be a national factor next season. Might make a run at the ACC, but will need luck to be even in that race. They have lost a lot of starters from the defense.

We don't even know that Tee Martin has much influence over his son. Two things that we do know are 1) Tee was never married to Amari Rodgers' mother and 2) they currently live 2,200 miles apart.

Sometimes father/son relationships such as that can be very complicated. The fact he de-committed from USC and remained that way after Tee was promoted to OC might be an indicator of 'something'.

I for one am glad that he picked Clemson because we are in on at least 10 better WR's.The only downside to his commitment is his friendship with Higgins and possible influence with him

Also true, but to the people that come in here with nothing but doom and gloom, that scenario doesn't fit.

Rogers going to Clemson shouldn't suprise Volnation. From what I've read on him, hes never had much interest in our Vols. Its bad enough to lose a state kid, but to lose one of our local Ktown kids, that really stings! But I'm not throwing in the towel yet, Its a long ways till NSD 17. Hopefully Butch and his staff can repair the fence around our state, and especially around Knoxville.

Wrong and wrong bud... we did not pursue most in-state kids last year as it was a weak year for TN talent. We got Bituli who should have a good career and Amari Rodgers is class of 2017.
