I sure hope he doesn't flip to UT in the next 11.5 months. If he did some of these posts would demand 2 or 3 helpings of crow to be consumed. We'll see.

Hard to believe you were surprised by this? I think most people who follow recruiting knew this wasvhappening. I wish him the best. The Vols will be just fine too....

One player will not prevent the freight train of success Butch Jones is driving. But it would be great to get both Rodgers and Higgins. Tee Martin is a great Vol, always will be, no matter where he coaches.

Hunter Johnson saw the line at QB here and decided to go somewhere else. I think that's why Higgins decommitted, he wanted to be with Hunter. It could very well end up Clemson vs Vols for a natty soon. We'll be there, but it would be great to do it with Rodgers and Higgins.

Rodgers is a dime a dozen WR... I hate to lose him anyway because he is from Knoxville and a legacy but aside from that - he is not even as good as what we already have in Josh Malone and Preston Williams, imo.

A senior and junior by the time he is in college. How does he compare to what we signed last year and this class is the issue.

My point was that we can always find receivers as good as Rodgers. He is not 5* material at all. We do need Higgins, however.

I don't feel amari has ever considered Tennessee a real possibility, and he seems to be very influential over tee Higgins. Does anyone know if there is some reservation tee Martin has with butch or Tennessee and that is what is being displayed?

Clemson is the flavor of the week, imo. Florida State is the best program in the ACC and Richt will soon have Miami ahead of Clemson again. They will be back to losing games they shouldn't as soon as Watson leaves. That guy is solely the reason they had success this year. He is a a dynamic college quarterback.

You'll probably hear several different opinions on this. From how Tee has turned his back on UT, to there was a riff created when Tee came for an interview. My opinion is Tee probably is letting his son make the decision and Amari likes Clemson. At least for now. If Tee was truly trying to influence his son, as the OC at USC he would be trying harder to get his son there.

JMO of course.

I doubt it on Miami.

Clemson will continue to stay near the top as long as Dabbin Dabo is there.
