I can't even imagine what coach Petrino would do in BR. What he was able to do in Arkansas was amazing. If you hired him you would have one heck of an offense.

No doubt he has put a good team on the field.

The problem is everything else about him. He didn't want to shake Les's hand one year because he thought Les was running up the score. Les wouldn't know how to run of the score even if he wanted to. Haha.

Will they not go after Dabo? It seems like he'd be a good fit, and I mean he's at Clemson... Surely that isn't his dream job. Sure it's easy to win there, in that league, but that's nowhere close to the elite job LSU is. Or do you think he is just waiting for the Bama job to open up?

I am sorry, but this post is delusional. Kiffin left mattresses burning here in more ways than one. I will agree he did a great job with Crompton. There is no disputing that. Leaving after one year is leaving us in a disaster, regardless of how else you spin it. He brought in a highly ranked class, but many of those guys did not pan out. We all know this. Additionally, he got us in hot water with the NCAA. He finished 7-6 in his only year here and got destroyed by VT in the bowl game. He left us with 3 weeks to go to signing day and we had to scramble to find a head coach, and we all know where that scramble led us. He set us back five years, at least, maybe longer.

Kiffin's sudden overnight departure led to the scrambling which was the hiring of Dooley, which spoiler alert, was a disaster. The end.

Expectations. He won a national championship relatively soon after he got there and it's been up and down since. It was rumored we approached him on our two recent searches. He was supposedly interested on one of them, can't remember which. I don't think we were prepared to pay what he wanted. Just rumors I heard.

If he was our QB and had thrown away games like he has. You would be *****in about him. I stand by my opinion. He makes awesome plays for both teams. He is a loose cannon that does almost as much harm as good. The net result is just a good QB.

If our coaches commit to running a wide open offense Dobbs will have a real argument. Handicapping him really hurts him. He may not be as talented throwing but he's every bit of the playmaker Kelly is. Coaches have to just get out of the way.

I'm thinking Bob Stoops, in the end.

Herman won't bite.
Petrino won't
Too early on Briles
Dabo has the cupboard stocked, and likely going to stocked Bama when that time comes.

Who is higher on their list, Kiffin or Stoops? That's where it will begin to shake out

And if it's stoops, OK goes all in for Herman
