He's a monster. I've got Higgins as my No.1 in the state of Tennessee but he's definitely No.2. Both should be 5 stars for sure.
I saw him his sophomore year and instantly knew.I've watched a lot of ball in my 48 years on this earth.I can count on one hand how many high school players I have been excited to watch play.Hurd was the last. This kid is another. He just flat out plays wfo.Fun kid to watch.
He could be another JRM.Start out as a S and move into a OLB.He's not far from that size wise now.He would be a lot of fun at S though. He fills the lane on running plays like a freaking mack truck. When he hits ts you their is no yac. That's good to hear. I've not seen Jacoby play, might have to make a game this fall (my little sister is a student so don't judge, mangs). But I agree about Hurd, I've never seen a guy dominate at RB like he did his Junior year. It was absurd.
I think a case can be made for both as No. 1. One thing is for sure, both are instant impact players. JS has that killer football instinct that you just can't teach.
I don't think it's even scholarships at this point. Unless taxes are raised or there's budget cuts elsewhere I'm pretty sure every public university will shut down on April 30th. And then all the athletes would have grades of incomplete for the spring semester, making them ineligible.
Political stunt and nothing more. Been done to death by many politicians to get their way, to squeeze more money from the "rich".... and rather than cut wasteful BS programs, they go for the high profile things like the schools, the fire department, the police department, and now the high profile state football team.
