As much as we all want Jacoby to be a Vol, just remember that one player doesn't make or break the program. With that said, I hope he ends up in orange and white!

UGA can't even negative recruit us. We will drag them this year. Shoop is going to punish Chaney like he did at Vandy with less talent.

He already said Georgia has the edge in the post from Georgia Rivals. A team mate from your hometown going to a school you like will have some sort of impact. I hope you are right. That kid was impressive in the 2 games we played them.

Not sure if already mentioned in this thread, but Austin Thomas (Jacoby's lead recruiter) left LSU for USCw... not bad news for the other teams in the race.

Given what we have in WR's and on the board for S this year, I think he goes somewhere else. JMO

Good luck to him then if true. Either, he is keeping it low key or else he really has no desire to matriculate to the fine institution of higher learning which is the University of Tennessee.

Early on its probably just as good Tennessee isn't listed as the leader, otherwise every school would be hammering them. Let other schools hammer ga for awhile.

That said, some kids just don't feel they are "national" unless they go somewhere out of state. Maybe that is Stevens.

But that quote was from a UGA writer, who are the worst homers. They seem to go out of their way to eliminate UT from being in the hunt for kids they are recruiting. For all we know Stevens mentioned UT first and the writer simply edited it out of what made it to print.

I think what Volatil says has a lot of truth. If the Vols win big next season it will do a lot for these in-state guys. If we mud stomp FL and GA and take care of business with the other teams on our schedule and beat Bama once, we'll have many quality, high ranked players wanting on board.
