I wouldn't use the first question as a bulletin point. UGA beat Shoop last year even without a coach and their worst offense they've had in 25 years.
Second one, no one knows, the pups or the SEC. I've seen some ignorant fans try to say he is Dooley 2.0, that's foolish and flawed thinking. Dooley couldn't recruit, recruiting is 70% of your success. Ask Butch
Yes, Richt pulled top 10 classes but is there anyone here that really thinks Smart won't pull top 5 every year and puts a top priority on recruiting. We don't know how much of that defense was Smart, every Bama fan will tell you a lot of their recruiting was because of him.
Back to Stevens, he won't last till summer IMO. Decision has been made.
I believe you are wrong and that this will carry out to at least late fall. Too many teams in strong position for him.
I know most folks on here believe CBJ is a miracle worker where recruiting is concerned; and he is good at it, but it does look like we aren't going to land Stevens, Chandler, or Higgins this year. And that's sad, because they could have signed on with a program with championships in sight. Expect Stevens to follow Max Wray to Georgia. Higgins' recruitment by Hunter Johnson and Amari Rogers to Clemson seems now to be, virtually, a sealed deal. And Chandler is a heavy lean to recom to LSU.
Well, good luck to them. They could still do better commiting to TN while they still can. But much better we take pledges from athletes that want to wear Orange and be VsFL. Maybe we don't get all the instate talent we want, but as a fine and successful coach, whom I've known for decades has stated repeatedly....."There are lots of good players, some better than you think and closer than you know". So yep, it would be sad to not get Stevens, Chandler, or Higgins; but we'll be fine with, or without them.
Go Vols!!!

You don't follow recruiting, do you?
If Stevens goes to UGA, it has almost nothing to do with Wray. He is very much so up in the air though.
Chandler recommitting to LSU? I missed when he first committed there lol We are in strong position here.
Tee all but sealed to Clem? Lmao He is a 100% UT lock. He won't recommit for a while yet, but he is even more likely than McKenzie was 2 years ago.
