I'm curious why people are crying about recruiting in July of a season of this magnitude?

Butch Jones already has a roster ready to win it all. If he can't win with this group, he never will.

You guys just need to realize what happens on the field this year will decide this programs fate. Win the SEC title this year and we'll be back to being a perennial contender once again. Lose 2-3 games and we'll be looking up at Georgia and Florida for the foreseeable future.

This year is all about what we do on the field. Win big and recruiting is no problem. Lose games you should win like we did last year, and we dont deserve to get any of these elite players.

That's silly. If we don't win the East this year, we still have a good chance to win in 2017. We are favored to win, but failing to do so doesn't doom the program for all eternity. If we win it in 16 and don't win it in 17 are we similarly doomed? Y'all need to relax, enjoy the season, then worry about the next ten years a little later. This is Jones first recruiting class that are seniors this year. He put it together in a month and the roster is junior laden. Hint... we can be a good football team this year and I expect to be. But if we play well and don't win it all, I'll still be a fan.

In the beginning I said I would look at his job performance after four years. I like the rebuild, hard work, and results overall. He needs to improve upon in game coaching decisions. However, initial game plans and adjustments have been good. Going ultra conservative late and leaving the game plan has been horrible.

If we do what is expected on the field this year then I will be extremely happy with the job Butch is doing and we should reward him for it. The class will be fine by February by then.

If we lose games like we did last year, then the problem isn't the players its the COACH.

Maybe you will blindly keep having faith in Butch Jones but I personally won't expect anything from this team in 2017.

The path to a title will never be as clear as it is THIS YEAR. We have to take advantage of it.

Everything is set up for this year including schedule and facing first year coaches including VT. As for Stevens, Bama, LSU, Ga, Tn battle still

When some of you guys start slitting your wrists, please do it the right way and not the attention way.

You contradict yourself terribly. You say it's pointless to worry about recruiting at this time of year as if we're going to bring in a much better class (maybe and hopefully we do) but then say if he can't "win it all" this year then he never will. If you expect the recruiting to work out fine going forward then Butch should have more opportunities to "win it all" in years to come.
