He was always gone. Never even had a shot with this dude. He is one of those kids Tennessee is full of now. Either they grow up with no pride in their state, or they moved here from somewhere else, and brought their hatred of UT with them. Either way it sucks that they refuse to be part of us. I wish they we would go back where they're from if they love it so much. That's what I tell my stupid brother in law from Alabama that lives 10 minutes from Neyland and is raising his little boy to be a Barner and hate Tennessee. Just jokingly of course. He is otherwise a great guy.

JaCoby isn't impressionable like the recruit mentioned in this post. Don't care who is all over him. Bama is NOT 2nd. You should be ecstatic to be getting the best player in the state. He's going to Georgia (most likely). The only way he doesn't is if Arranda convinces him that his first choice was correct.

Rogers and Higgins pull stops at the Knox County line. Hate missing on Higgins, but I doubt kids in the midstate region listen too much to 2 guys that dodged their 7 on 7 camps so their ranking wouldn't be negatively affected.

UGA 247 mods not confident anymore. Still feel Georgia is in a good spot but they (the mods) have tempered expectations for Stevens greatly.

I think you're correct though that it comes down to UGA and LSU.

Starting time maybe but he would play in rotation if he was legit. Also have to remember that's a hard hitting position and Gaulden HS trouble staying healthy.

Gaulden doesn't hold a candle to this kid athletically. He would be a huge loss if he leaves the state.

That's were Deangelo Gibbs comes into play. Really important to try and seal the deal with this kid.

I don't think he would come in and start day one either. It's not out of the realm of possibility but it's rare. Unfortunately I don't think we'll have that problem with Jacoby. I do think he'll play early whereever he goes.
