17 TN DB Theo Jackson (UT signee)

I don't understand why people don't like Trey Coleman. He has a great tape. I'm sure you know though.

The tape looks great. Kid is a good looking back. Not sure about others but my concern is mainly just history. Taking commitments from kids out of Louisiana doesn't pan out well for us very often. If he sticks, great. History says that's unlikely.

Jackson reminds me of Martin too but I think he will be a safety. Kid seems to be a ball hawk and tackles pretty well.

Edit:
Also I'm so pumped to watch Gaulden this year. I hope he stays healthy and has an awesome year

Jackson looks like a Martin/Gaulden hybrid player(talent wise). Don't know if he hits near as hard though. Lol

I agree. Hitting is the difference between the two. Either way, I think Jackson is a player and a great pick-up.

He's Martin level talent to ME.

I think this kid will be a freak at FS. Big time pickup. IMO

Martin is 6'2" 200 lbs 4.35 40.
And hes physical.

Hes the most talented CB in America. We'll see it this year. Had glimpses of it last year.

Martin has Jalen Ramsay talent.

When Martin becomes the best CB on this team then praise him to the moon and back. Until then let him at least get one pick. 😁

And he's not Ramsey-esque. Ramsey is the best playmaker on the backend since dare I say Eric Berry.

Ramsey was great and all, but he didn't have the ball skills that Berry had at all. Dude only had 3 INTs and 58 INT yards his entire career.

LOL. You do know he had like 3 career interceptions? One of Ramsey's biggest knocks at the draft was the LACK of big plays.

Ramsey is a guy who looks better than he plays. He got burned a bunch last year in man coverage because he doesn't have very fluid or natural hips.

He'll still be a really good pro because he's a freak athlete. I think he's Antonio Cromartie 2.0. But he's not this transcendent Deion Sanders-esque talent people tried to make him out to be.

He changed games in a similar way. There hasn't been a safety as good as EB overall in college. IMO

Ramsey dominated though and we haven't seen a DB recently that controlled games like him. That's the point I was making.
