FTR, that is out there about Butch as well. You don't think the lawsuit, Alleged rapes, etc have been used negatively against UT? And for the ones who are guilty, can't exactly be proud of them and call them life champions, can we?

The fact they settled only added ammunition to recruiting wars. If I'm totally innocent, there would be no settlement but I understand why they did it. Forget if it's true or false, sad to say but most families/parents are to lazy to research the truth in this case and will take the opposing coaches' word for it. I think the lawsuit hurt this class bad at least in the summer when the media (again, too lazy to find the truth) ran it roughshod over and over and over. The media did the job for opposing coaches.

You've actually been very critical of this class since early in the season, at the very least. That is not necessarily criticizing Butch, directly, but it is criticizing his performance in one major aspect of his job.

Any updates? Anyone know how Richmond has been feeling lately? Seems like his input could go a long way with Trey either way.

I made it a point over and over again in the preseason to say that I did not blame the staff for the state of this years recruiting. I was very disappointed then, and even more so now in the crapfest that this class currently is. I believe they did their best fighting against all the negative BS in the media during the off season. I do however blame Butch and friends for how it is going now. It is a result of their massive failure and stupid squandering of talent this season, plus Butch trying to jump ship. That is absolutely their fault.

If trey jumps on board, we will have 3 5* Olinemen the next year. Richmond, Smith and Mays.
