South Carolina making things interesting concerning Calbert. He was invited into the locker room immediately after S. Carolina beat the Vols Saturday night. He's keeping things close to the vest, but other sec programs, including USCe, are starting to make a significant push for this kid.

I believe this kid is 3 or 4 on our list but with the way this season is going we probably don't get our top targets so losing our fallback plan isn't good.

Yea, both of these answers are incorrect.
I was with him last night and here is word for word what he told me.

"We were coming home from So Carolina and Butch texted me and asked me if I could stop by. Wanted to spend some time with me. They told me that me and Trey are the two they need most and want us to come in together and be bookends. They wanted me to commit right there and they were all there Mo, Butch, Debord, azzani, Nick,Ab, and of course coach Walt. I want to take my time and make sure I'm making the best decision for me though. This is hard as crap but i really want to be a Vol but only if it is best for me. He said i asked if i'd lose my spot and coach butch told me absolutely not son. we want ya but as you saw last night we need you more than we want you".

Also both the guys that take him everywhere are big vol fans but both are good guys and aren't pushing him into doing anything. they are wanting what is best for him and have told him they are with him no matter what he decides.

he said he wasn't worried about all that crap yesterday and he knows players don't always do the best thinbg.

thats all i have but will update every time i can. i told him to pull the trigger and he just smiled.

I think this kid is smart waiting until January since he is a 3 star. This staff has ditched too many kids in late December and January. He needs to make sure they want him.

He's a good OL but he not ranked 3*'s by nearly all recruiting services for nothing. There are better ones out there on our offer/interest lists but they don't appear to have UT up there in their favorites. I like the fact this is an in-state kid as well.

He is a good looking prospect though even at 3* ranking. Could even have a slight chance at being bumped to a 4* recruit before it's over. He is strong & pretty quick for a guy his size.

This kid is one of top prospects in state... not sure why some you appear to have such an unhealthy obsession with stars beside a kids name
