It seems the recruiting services and most coaching staffs did as well. He wasn't highly ranked or recruited.

I remember hearing him interviewed on one of the local stations with his dad. He put it out there that he wanted to catch the ball and didn't intend to be a Blocker. JJ cut in and did some damage control, but my "attitude" radar went off. I hoped he was just being a kid, but wondered then if that attitude was shown to coaches often. My guess is that dad recalibrated him after the phone call.

Any chance they get involved with Hayden?

At this point, I don't see any re-engagement with Hayden. Obviously we are keeping an eye on that one next month. Personally, I like Chase. I like his game and I am a huge fan of that family. But I think they like Lovett better and Tim Jordan better in addition to Felix and Etienne.
