'17 TN RB Cordarrian Richardson (Clemson commit)

We have to do that first. Clemson has been decent to good for the past decade so they have the stability factor for them as well.
True but they've had a much easier road. Let them play GA, FL, AL, and a pretty dang solid team from the west every year and see how they fare. Also, add in an Oklahoma or Oregon. Clemson literally has 1 or 2 games a year.

ACC, very big difference in having one or two big games a year and having seven or eight!

The best thing I heard in his interview is Coach G is on the job. Next best thing to having Butch on him~

Weeeeelll that's all pretty indifferent haha. Maybe he's nervous doing interviews.

I interviewed him after the state championship game and he was very nervous. Didn't say much at all. And when asked about his offers and what not he didn't seem to interested in talking about recruiting

Doesn't matter. Kids see a program doing well, winning 10-11 games and making the playoffs. Sitting them down and trying to break down each team's competition is not the bottom line, winning is. Plus they look good doing it with players like Watson. They are easily ahead of us right now in most every aspect. We need to win 11 games this year and a bowl game to solidify us and give us an argument for a recruit choosing us over them. We've already lost Johnson, and more than likely Higgins to them...as well as another in-state guy in Rodgers.

That's exactly what I picked up on haha. I get that. Would you say he's north or south of 220 lbs?

Never said we didn't need to win nor did I say it mattered to recruits. Rogers was never coming here. If we won the natty this coming season, he wasn't coming here. Sure, winning helps recruiting. Doesn't take a rocket surgeon to know that. We're going to have a great class this coming year regardless of who Clemson gets. As soon as Watson leaves they'll be back to the same old Clemson, beating up on inferior opponents and getting smacked when it counts.

Lol. You guys and some of your analysis are comical. Your comment about what they will do when Watson leaves is 'challenged' at best. How in the hell could you possibly know what they are going to do? They have a 5* qb lined up to take his place in Johnson, and other elite talent coming along with it. But according to you the guru, they are going to fall flat on their face. Haahahahahaa. And what the hell is a 'rocket surgeon'??? Did you mean, 'rocket scientist' or maybe 'brain surgeon'?

Hey bud, go cheer for Clemson. It's called an opinion man. Mine is just as valid as yours. Hunter is no Watson and I'll bet he doesn't end up there anyway. Your lack of football knowledge is very evident.

And, if you'd been around longer than Clem's son has been relevant you'd know how "rocket surgery" has been used.

Also, the Clemson troll is strong here.

Cordarrian Richardson is now ranked the #82 best overall player & the 5th best RB in the country by 247Sports after the ranking update today. Richardson jumped 180 spots in the overall rankings after being un-ranked in the initial Top247 Rankings by 247 Sports.
Cordarrian Richardson, RB, Memphis (Tenn.) Trezevant – He's the type of guy nobody enjoys tackling. He's a dense, physical, one-cut back that carried his team to a state championship in the fall.

I wouldn't go that far.

I wasn't aware that BC, Duke, GT, Virginia, NCST, UNC, Wake Forrest, and Miami were so scary from 2010-2012.

Hell, Dooley spanked NCST and lost to UNC on a technicality.

That's how weak the ACC is. It's so weak Dooley could have modest success...with a Tennessee team ha

In the last 4 or so years they've beat LSU, UGA, Oklahoma X2, Auburn X2, Ohio St, the Gamecocks a couple times and should have beat Bama.

They've been really good against pretty much everyone but FSU the last 4 seasons.

They are going to be a B*tch to compete with on the trail.

You havent even seen Hunter play in college. Your assessment isn't based off fact, it's based off of opinion. You couldn't possibly know if Hunter is going to be as good as Watson. And you want to bring football knowledge into this. You before go back to performing surgery on rocket launchers. And your comment about 'the Clemson troll is strong here'. What does that even mean? I've been a Vol fan for 30 yrs. You're perception of people and their so called 'trolling' is about as bright as your football commentary. Because someone challenges your beliefs they are a troll. Hahahahaha. How old are you? 18-22?

It's much easier to win those ooc games when you only have one game per year. They will be tough on the trail simply because of the hype and they pay well. I'm sorry, I'm just not enamored with Clemson.

How old are you? 12? Unlike you I don't throw a childish hissey fit over 17 yo kids. You get your panties all knotted up when one of these attention seeking kids doesn't lather up over your school. TN will be just fine whether he comes here or not. I suggest you take a midol and talk to your parents about the changes you are going through.

As to Hunter, I've seen him live and on hudle and he's a decent talent. He's not a dual threat qb. He doesn't fit what Clemson's offense nor the Vols. He'll be lucky to retain his fifth star.

And yes that's my opinion. Just like yours is that Clemson is the college version of the new England Patriots.

And to add, I bet I have children as old as you if not then very close.

Hunter is a 4* talent at best. I do agree that he doesn't fit Clemson's nor Tennessee's offense. He's best suited for a pro style offense like TCU or even Notre Dame which I think he ends up when it's all said & done. I think Tennessee is better off with JG anyways.

HJ is the top QB in the country right now. Maybe that changes, but the complete flip of opinion of him on here is hilarious.

I think we all were at least marginally concerned his stats SUUUUUCKED. No. 1 QB recruits take over games. I really liked him but he did look like Kendall to me.

Those 5 star rankings have a lot of politics involved. Those services are reluctant to drop a kid that they've ranked so highly because they'd have to admit they were wrong and for the same reason they are reluctant to raise a kid significantly. I personally don't think he's the number 1 qb. I didn't think he was the number 1 qb when he was committed to the Vols. I have to question his character the way whole thing went down as well. Recruiting for Clemson while he was committed to us while on campus. That doesn't speak well for the kind of kid he is. If Dabo put him up to it, what does that say about Dabo and his Christian example?
