Pitiful we are struggling with our instate talent. We need this guy in orange

I know things can change, but this is what was said in July:

"At tailback, both Cordarrian Richardson and Ty Chandler are players the Vols consider high priorities and Tennessee is in the thick of things with both, especially Richardson." - VQ

Call me a little skeptical of a New Orleans paper doing anything but predicting LSU getting a running back they want. Once VQ or GFW or one of the other insiders tells us we're struggling with Richardson, I'm going to continue to trust that we'll get him.

It's not pitiful. We have mostly killed instate recruiting. It is Memphis. Always a struggle with Memphis. He's a '17 recruit. Knee jerk reaction

5-10, 220-pound running back Cordarrian Richardson is a typical LSU back, in that he seeks contact, and is ideal for a power running game. The Tigers sit atop his leader board, with Alabama currently posing the biggest threat for the Memphis, Tennessee native. A source close to Richardson states that he is likely to make an early decision, "around the spring or so", and he is looking at Baton Rouge as a possible destination.

Butch needs to win this one or pull a better RB. No other option will work.

No need to get testy NochNoch. We all VOL fans here.:)

Just a saying.

Haha, sorry, the "what the hell" wasn't supposed to indicate being testy. It was supposed to indicate utter confusion on my part as to what you meant.

Apologies BOD.

Its November of 2015 and you think we are struggling with a 2017 recruit? You have got to be kidding me. Its a long, long way to go until February 2018 but yeah we are struggling :eek:lol:

Talked with his coach bout a couple weeks ago.. Coach G is still on him and I know for sure other commits from Tennessee have contacted him and have stayed on him.. Mostly Hunter Johnson.. He's a great kid and very humble and coachable he's got a lot of decisions to make and hope we can get him.. Very smart kid..Butch needs to stay on him..

Interesting fact... Baton rouge is 25 miles closer to Memphis than Knoxville is. I hope he wants to be a Vol, but the idea that he has some exploitable connection with UT may be unwarranted. CBJ will most likely not get every good player within 400 miles. I wouldn't consider that struggling.

You're like 250 miles off. But your point stands.

Edit: I have the dumb.
