True. He had built a relationship with those players while at Vandy. Gray said he was recruiting him in Middle School.

Butch has made up some ground but I don't think either player would consider UT without CBS.

Ty Chandler

5'11" 195 lbs 4.4 speed.

If signs with us, he will break every rushing record at UT.

Chandler is top 2 at RB on board. He and Akers. Richardson was the one down the list that is going to clemson

I love these types of posts. Since absolutely nobody on this site has access to Butch's actual "board" its hilarious to read the soeculations. Since Richardson committed elsewhere, now he was down on the list. If he committed to us, then Chandler would have been the one down on the board. LOL.

Actually there were reports the coaches didn't communicate with Richardson for months before his commitment to Clemson. So the idea he wasn't that high on the RB board has some merit to it.

Richardson himself had said the coaches broke off contact for weeks.

It's not at all far fetched to believe Akers, Chandler, and others are/have been ahead of Rochardson. In fact, the evidence supports it.

Those reports could have been wrong. Nobody really knows or ever will know for sure.
