'17 TN WR Princeton Fant (UT commit 6/18/16)

Good or productive?

Both I suppose.

This kid is 6'1 200 Lbs with 4.4 speed and very athletic. But where are his instincts?

Even if "stats' don't show up he could still effect the game in other ways.

He should be unblockable at that level. QB pressures. Tipped passes.

Hes playing the same basic position Jaylen RM did in HS.

He has to be better...
Coaching has something to do with his production.

But even with bad coaching players find a way to produce. Even if they begin to play selfishly, they can produce.

I usually hang in the shadows and read comments here.

Some of you people are the most down trodden, negative types that I avoid in the real world.

If you would just try to live in a positive mind set and look for improvement in those around you and yourself there's a chance you could improve your own lot.

I'm not sure you would actually own up to this but, just saying...

Whom are you speaking about?

What is negative about saying a kid is not playing even close to his massive potential?

You're taking the topic somewhere it doesn't have a place in.

For myself I have been one of the ones that his VERY happy with most of the 3 stars we have committed.
Is that negative? Naive perhaps?
Answer: neither
Because i know enough about football to know that Butch is doing a damn good job. So my opinion is based on many things, negativity NOT being one of them.

People just don't like when someone is critical.

That's the world.

Basically sounds like the Bituli thread copy and pasted

I agree. What makes it really fun is that their not even talking about the guy this thread is for. If you're going to screw up a thread, at least screw up the thread of the individual you're talking about.

Yep, one game with 5 catches for 17.4 ypc, is definitely a terrible whole year. Do you math, bruh?

HELEN COMER/DNJ
La Vergne's Princeton Fant (2) fumbles a kick-off return during game one against Smyrna, at Smyrna on Friday, Aug. 12, 2016.

I was talking about the 5 catches but I would agree that 17.4 is not bad. I think Smyrna felt good about holding him in check based on the post game comments.

I find it pretty sad that some fans find joy in focusing on our recruits misfortunes. The ones who do are so misinformed its beyond pathetic.

5 catches and 87 yards is a bad game? I don't know what's worse, this dude complaining after one game or that one dude talking how Gray isn't a good player every chance he gets. I'm friends with a cousin of Fant's...wonder if he would find all this comical?

He would probably feel pretty much like the rest of us on here do. The couple of people doing the sh** talking are idiots. They prove it quite often. That's just my guess though.

I don't know how intelligent the kid is, but I question his motivation for playing football.

Gualden, Jaylen RM, Jennings where all unstoppable Mid- State prosepcts and none of them were ranked as high as Maliek.

He should be averaging 10 tkls a game.
And he should be featured on offense as well.

Gray needs to play DE for LaVergne. His instincts aren't there for LB. Like I said a while agi, he reminds of Chris Donald.

Exactly Little he's virtually a no impact guy how they play him.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. For instance when Oakland went to wing t, Jacoby found ways to mk plays, and the coach saw this and got him more touches. If you're special you stand out. No way around it. JRM would finisha game with 20 tkl and 200 yds because coaches get special guys the ball

I wish we didn't take his commitment.

Hayden deserves this spot. That kid is motivated. We have Chandler and Coleman, but Hayden would make an impact on special teams and defense before Maliek does.

It pisses me off how guys like
Phillips
Richardson
And even Hayden got so little love than this guy.

Tell Phillips he'll get his shot a Mike.

Richardson could replace the power we lose with Hurd.

Hayden is good enough to play many places. And i hear hes a team guy, just like Chandler.

Whatever... im done talking about this dude.
Its silly to go on about it.
