Reports come out a few days later saying we passed and may take Moore now.

Of course the Trey Smith visit might have played into it, but I believe that was after the trip to UNC for Ross.

I may be dead wrong, but if we take any more OL for 2017, it will be Trey Smith and Jalen McKenzie (if healthy) or Obinna Eze.

I hate to be the one who tells you, but I think your source in London left with the Brexit and your source in Egypt went into hiding because of riots.

Ross is Sunday night and Moore announcing Monday? That's pretty telling Moore is a take if Ross goes elsewhere. Why not take them both and cut bait at the end with the one you don't like anymore?

One reason I'd imagine you don't just keep taking commitments at a spot like OL with the plan to dump a bunch of them later is by doing so 1-2 of the ones you wanted to keep see you still taking commitments and decide to walk themselves. Obviously other coaches would be using it as a negative recruiting tool as well. IMO with Tucker and Locklear in, don't take another commitment at OL unless you're 100% sure it's a guy you want to sign.

Agree with you here. Smith is guaranteed a spot, so there is three. If it comes down to it and we had to pick one more Id take Eze over Moore, but that my opinion.

I would as well. I don't want to see a situation where the staff takes Moore and drops Tucker, then takes Eze and drops Moore.

Not going to happen, if we get Moore and Smith that would be it. They will not drop Tucker.

RC says that he thinks TN is still on Eze's list, but he does not get the vibe that we are his team to beat. Watch AU on this one, they have a few Nigerians on their roster that have made him feel very comfortable.

They've mentioned a few others including McKenzie recently being in play. With 2 committed I just wouldn't take another commitment going forward unless that kid is getting a NLI to sign.

McKenzie should be in play. He's a 4* recruit & we need more of those. I've just seen enough of these 3* signings myself. It's time for a 4*-5* or two! :rock:

Yeah, those would be fine but I was just saying not to keep McKenzie out of the fold either. He's a 4* as well. Just in case we can't get one of these 4*-5* players at OL like Smith & Moore.

Of course we should go get both Smith & Moore. But, we have other OL that we are recruiting like McKenzie that could turn out to be great players for us.

Eze is another one that could end up being very good. We certainly can't sign them all. I say ~around 4-5 OL would be the most for the 2017 class.
