i think the only thing you're seeing is that the wealth may get spread around more evenly now with what UGA and Auburn are doing recruiting wise.
FL, TN and aTm will reap some benefit of the coaching change....all three look to be capable of signing really good classes THIS year.
LSU, they're going to be interesting to watch. i could see them taking a step back, to the benefit of all the schools already mentioned. i don't get the feeling all is well in Baton Rouge.
but given how Bama has recruited, it still may take a couple years for that "balance" to really show up, and now that GA will lose a lot of experience and leadership, they may fall back to the pack, every so slightly. i don't expect a huge drop off this year, just maybe not another playoff or national title run.
i will say this, the last 3 years, it's been Bama and everyone else. it already appears that as of this year, it's Bama, GA, Auburn and everyone else.
2-3 years from now, i do expect it to be Bama, GA, Auburn, aTm, FL, TN all being able to compete with each other at a pretty high level....that is if current recruiting trends continue....
i think this year's coaching changes are going to reset the top of the league. may not be able to see it all come to fruition this year.....but i think FL, TN, and aTm should all be fairly happy with how things are going, at least to the point we all are in our respective transitions.........
